Responsibilities

  • Lead global monetisation strategy for mid-market products, with a focus on AI‑related offerings
  • Own annual pricing decisions and forecasting for ~$1.5bn in recurring revenue
  • Serve as a recognised thought leader in pricing and packaging across Sage
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and regional teams to translate strategy into actionable pricing solutions
  • Ensure pricing decisions are backed by robust market, competitor, and customer research
  • Innovate pricing models by leveraging industry trends, academic research, and professional networks
  • Communicate pricing strategies effectively to senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
  • Support pricing governance and contribute to Sage\’s global pricing committee
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3–4 pricing professionals
  • Act as deputy to the VP of Pricing, with potential to succeed in that role

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years\’ experience in pricing or commercial strategy, ideally within B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record in developing AI monetisation strategies and related pricing models
  • Consulting experience in pricing projects is advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Expertise in market, competitor, and customer research, including technical pricing methodologies
  • In‑depth knowledge of mid‑market ERP products and pricing approaches
  • Highly structured and analytical mindset, with resilience and initiative
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including at executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrixed organisation and drive cross‑functional alignment

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic pricing leader to shape and drive global monetisation strategies for Sage\’s mid‑market products, including Sage Intacct, X3, and BMS. This role will oversee pricing and packaging initiatives, with a strong emphasis on AI‑driven innovation, and manage decisions impacting approximately $1.5 billion in annual recurring revenue.
