We’re hiring a Digital Trading & Performance Analyst to join our Global Digital/eCommerce Performance Marketing team. This role focuses on driving new customer acquisition by optimising digital performance and enhancing the customer journey across Sage.com. You’ll contribute to improving engagement and conversion on the website by collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine the digital funnel. This is a great opportunity for someone with around four years of hands-on digital marketing and SaaS e-commerce experience, who is highly analytical, enjoys working across website performance and data insights, and has a strong ability to translate data into actionable recommendations that drive performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Digital Funnel & Customer Journey Optimisation: Drive digital performance by optimising the marketing funnel and aligning website activity with strategy to boost acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Develop and execute marketing and trading initiatives to achieve performance targets.
- Support daily website activities, including pricing, merchandising, product launches, and promotional execution.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align SEO, PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliate strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance website performance and user experience.
- Enhance the digital customer experience by identifying opportunities to refine website design, functionality, and navigation.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify issues and improve the customer journey.
- Collaborate with experimentation teams to test and implement website enhancements.
- Utilize insights to optimise website layout, content, and conversion paths.
- Support performance leads in improving KPIs related to engagement and conversion.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage data analytics to uncover insights, track performance, and inform digital strategy.
- Analyse website data to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports with clear performance insights.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance digital marketing effectiveness.
- Build an understanding of customer behaviour to guide future strategy and decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Insights: Work across teams to align priorities, share insights, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular insights sessions and ensure prompt reporting on key metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to define focus areas and translate data into business strategies.
- Monitor external market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
Qualifications:
- You bring hands-on experience in digital or SaaS e-commerce marketing and can demonstrate how you’ve contributed to performance improvement.
- You’re confident working with website performance data and comfortable turning insights into clear, practical actions.
- You’re familiar with digital funnel metrics, self-service purchasing behaviour, and key SaaS performance indicators, and understand how these influence user experience and conversion.
- You’ve worked on B2B, B2C, or SaaS e-commerce websites and understand how to spot opportunities to improve the user journey or conversion.
- You’ve collaborated with cross-functional teams and know how to manage projects and priorities in a structured way.
- You’re organised, analytical, and curious—always looking for ways to make the digital experience better.
- You can communicate clearly with stakeholders and enjoy sharing insights that support business decisions.
