Job Description As Sage continues to grow, our global Corporate Affairs function offers an exciting opportunity to join our Group Colleague Communications team as a Colleague Communications Manager.

The successful candidate will shape and influence colleague communications across the Group, developing and executing communications plans to support business goals and priorities. This role involves creating communication and engagement activities for our 11,000 colleagues across more than 20 countries. You will collaborate closely with our central and regional communications teams, as well as leaders and colleagues from other teams across Sage.

Strong stakeholder management experience is essential, along with excellent project management and writing skills. Experience working in cross-functional, matrix teams is highly desirable, as is a collaborative, positive mindset and familiarity with modern internal communications tools. Experience in change management and change communications is also required.

We seek candidates who are engagement-focused, proactive, strategic, and creative, suited for a fast-paced, demanding, but fun environment.

The position will be based Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Communication & Engagement

– Develop and implement internal communications strategies to support business initiatives, change programs, and colleague engagement.
– Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure a consistent, aligned, and impactful approach to colleague communications.

Content Creation & Messaging

– Craft compelling written content for internal platforms, including Your Sage intranet (SharePoint), Viva Engage, and other digital channels.
– Translate complex business updates into clear, engaging, and accessible messaging that resonates with colleagues.

Stakeholder & Crisis Communication

– Provide expert advice to leaders on communicating sensitive or complex messages, including change projects and crisis situations.
– Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring communications are strategically planned and effectively delivered.

Measuring Impact & Continuous Improvement

– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives, using insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
– Ensure activities are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines while maintaining high-quality execution.
