Full-time position in Transport and Logistics based in Swindon.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 5am - 1.30pm (pending any additional overtime due to traffic).
Salary: £31,699.20 per annum
This role requires mobile cover in any of the regions within the Clearsprings Group. You will be delivering and installing white goods, inventory, and furnishings to properties.
You will report directly to the team leader and will be given your job sheet daily which needs to be completed efficiently. You will interact with Housing Officers and at times Service Users, maintaining a professional image of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Housing Officers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Notify the team leader immediately if you see anything dangerous within the property.
- Deliver, assemble (as necessary), and install all goods in accordance with the company’s internal procedures.
- Ensure that all properties are left safe and clean.
- Work closely with your line manager and team members.
- Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required.
- Support team members and provide on-the-job training.
- Provide cover for other staff as agreed by the line manager.
- Maintain up-to-date records according to company policies and procedures.
- Complete jobs to a high standard and notify the team leader if unable to complete any requested jobs.
- Monitor own work levels, progress, and development in the role.
- Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required.
- Ensure personal data is kept securely and not disclosed to any unauthorised third party.
- Perform any other duties within the scope of responsibility and ability as required.
- Maintain a good understanding of the legislation of the contract.
- Document and feedback non-completed defects to management.
- Return completed paperwork to the team leader as directed.
- Provide cover for the line manager during annual leave.
