PASS Ltd is a leading provider of test equipment and calibration across the UK. We have been in business since 2001 and have seven sites across the UK with over 140 staff. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement function and ensure the smooth and efficient supply of products and services across the business.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the buyer and the purchasing function, ensuring that purchase orders are placed accurately, deliveries are on time, orders and pricing are updated and supplier relationships are maintained professionally. This is a very fast‑paced, detail‑focused role where organisation and system accuracy are critical and where a good accurate memory will serve you well.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with Ebay and Amazon Sales administration
- Chasing suppliers for pricing, order confirmations and delivery updates
- Monitoring and updating expected delivery dates (ETAs)
- Maintaining accurate product data in internal systems
- Assisting with updating supplier pricing
- Supporting stock replenishment and availability across sites
- Assisting with day‑to‑day supplier communication
- Resolving basic invoice or delivery discrepancies
- Working closely with buyer, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator (email and phone)
- Fantastic IT skills, particularly Excel and internal systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role
- Experience working in a technical, engineering, or distribution business
- Familiarity with ERP/stock management systems
- Working towards or interested in CIPS qualification
