Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Third‑Party Claims Adjuster for our liability claims team, based in Diss, South Norfolk. The role involves handling credit‑hire and motor claims up to £50,000, managing a portfolio of litigated claims, and providing excellent customer service. A strong attitude, work ethic, and desire to grow within the company are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage third‑party claims focusing on indemnity, liability and quantum.
- Review claims regularly using diary system to ensure accurate reserves and timely closure.
- Respond to all written and phone enquiries clearly, courteously, and promptly.
- Clearly explain decisions on liability, negotiating settlement within authority level where appropriate.
- Evaluate quantum by gathering relevant evidence, adjusting reserves in accordance with company reserving processes.
- Set clear expectations and next steps to the client.
- Liaise with internal and external partners at all levels.
- Develop relationships with clients by providing a friendly, efficient service.
- Competently handle all aspects of third‑party motor claims, up to a value of £50,000.
