Barnsley Council have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager - 16+ to join the team based in Barnsley. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £47,181 - £50,269 (SCP 36-39) plus an additional 10% recruitment fee paid on a monthly basis.
Working Arrangements: Flexible with some opportunity for working at home. We are happy to talk further flexible working opportunities with you.
Responsibilities: Barnsley Children's Services will be opening its first 16+ semi-independent and supported accommodation this summer and we are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Registered Manager to lead the next stage of this key service development. You will be based in a newly refurbished Georgian building located in a highly desirable area close to transport links, Barnsley College and the Care Leaver Hub. The service will include four fully furnished individual flats plus staff office, staff sleep-in room and a large direct work area to support young people in their next step to independence. You will drive and champion a collaborative effort with young people who have lived experience in care. Key responsibilities include leading the team to deliver high-quality outcomes for care leavers and developing and growing the service from day one.
