As part of the Travel Marketing team, this role will support the Marketing Manager for Titan Travel and the wider Travel marketing team to deliver the Marketing Communications plan effectively across multiple channels to meet the business's demand and sales targets. You will support Titan and Saga’s wider Travel Business by orchestrating the planning and delivery of cross‑channel marketing campaigns in line with the business targets. You’ll drive continued improvement in ways of working and optimisation of marketing collateral and messaging to align with marketing strategies.

This role requires you to be working from our Folkestone office a minimum of 3 times a week. We have designated office space for colleagues in our Travel business, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a function.

Main Responsibilities

As our new Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing campaign activity across the annual plan, ensuring messaging and creative highlights our key brand differentiators to customers against our competitors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Titan Marketing Manager and Head of Travel Marketing in the development of the annual marketing plan for Titan Touring.
  • Facilitating and orchestrating the successful application of the Campaign Delivery Process to plan, shape, create and deliver best in class marketing communications cross‑channel in an organised, timely and effective manner.
  • Leading the coordination of relevant stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Digital & Trade teams, including running marketing planning and delivery meetings to provide ongoing clarity on roles, actions, timelines and dependencies.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to plan and execute a fit for purpose content strategy through all channels to inspire, entertain, educate and convince key target cohorts to choose Titan.
  • Proactively collaborating with CRM, Digital & Trade teams to design and create seamless customer journeys and content throughout campaigns to ensure customers have the best experience.
  • Supporting the CRM and Digital teams with continued and extended Test & Learn application across all activity, adopting best practice.
  • Working with the CRM, Digital and external Media teams to ensure all activity is tracked, reported on and collated into a single view of the Campaign results, to monitor efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Campaign briefing and creative sign‑off including main campaigns x4 times a year.
  • Working alongside the CRM team on email creative and proposition, to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
  • Work with the insight team to test creative and messaging to different customer cohorts to keep communications fresh and relevant.
  • Explore new partnership opportunities and help to manage the agency relationships, sharing content across all channels and managing the promotional plan.
  • Represent and promote the company at internal and external meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows as required.
The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be an experienced marketer with multi‑channel experience including a marketing qualification. It is essential you have experience in a large consumer facing organisation and having worked within the travel industry would be advantageous. Experience required includes:

  • Project management and strong communication skills with the ability to bring teams together to meet goals.
  • Used to working as a team and building solid working relationships across the marketing team and with external agencies/partners.
  • Self‑starter mindset, with the ability to create solutions rather than wait for a brief.
  • Experience in omni‑channel planning and delivery to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the industry’s latest trends with proven experience in applying insights to improve business performance.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Strong growth and performance mentality, innovating and exploring new opportunities beyond the default approach.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver strategic revenue‑generating marketing projects across both offline and online channels.
  • Naturally curious and enjoys working with data and insight to inform decisions and shape activity.
