In this newly created role, you will partner with senior management to drive effective process improvements underpinned by robust, scalable technology. You will be accountable for the following areas:

  • Managing all aspects of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) strategy and delivery.
  • Creating and managing all RPA processes and governance; opportunity identification, specifications gathering, development, testing and maintenance.
  • Owning and developing the relationship between Saga and our technology provider, UiPath, including commercial negotiations.
  • Staying up to date on emerging technology, functionality and trends and translating these into potential benefits for Saga.
  • Leading pilots and creating business cases where appropriate.
  • Managing and monitoring risks and performance to prevent failures that could detriment Saga.
  • Line managing the automation team, ensuring they are supported and challenged to develop and deliver the best outcomes.
  • Creating an operating environment and culture where staff are motivated and empowered to consistently deliver high performance while upholding Saga values.

As our Automation Manager, you will lead the strategy and delivery of Robotic Process Automation. Experience leading the automation strategy and delivery; proven capability in PaaS or RPA initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the Insurance sector is advantageous, but candidates from the wider Financial Services industry with awareness of regulatory requirements will be considered.
  • Experience of change management and leading an agile mindset.
  • Extensive experience in creating robust, waste-free processes.
  • Experience of leading teams and projects with precision and pace.
  • Experience of hyper-automation with a focus on Robotics.

We work in a hybrid way at Saga, both at home and in the office. Your main office will be in Folkestone, with regular visits and occasional visits to London.
