We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead Digital delivery in an Agile framework. Following Saga's recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will guide a cross-disciplinary development team, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into actionable deliverables, with timelines driven by the overarching programme. While your primary responsibility will be Scrum leadership, you will also serve as a Business Analyst when needed, crafting user stories and defining acceptance criteria to drive successful implementation. The role will report into the delivery lead for Marketing & Digital and will be supported by the delivery lead for Technology.
We offer flexibility over where you work - you choose a place where you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs. There will be an occasional need to collaborate for workshops in person in London or the South East.
Role Responsibility
- Lead Digital delivery, ensuring alignment between business needs and Agile execution.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Provide guidance to a cross-functional development team, fostering collaboration and efficiency while aligning with developers from different teams who may have varying ways of working.
- Identify and proactively manage dependencies between teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Remove impediments and navigate corporate structure in a fast-paced environment.
- Coach the development team to handle ambiguity while delivering with quality and timeliness.
- Champion Agile best practices while adapting delivery approaches to program timelines.
- Maintain key project artefacts, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Project Manager / Business Analyst in a Digital delivery setting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to write clear, actionable user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other Agile tools.
- Skilled at navigating corporate structure, competing priorities, working under pressure and managing ambiguity.
- Experience in Professional Services preferred, but not essential.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred, but not essential.
