RSE Controls (Saftronics) is looking to recruit a PLC Commissioning Engineer to service works across Yorkshire as part of our PLC Site Services division. A specialist business in the MCC and power control sector, you'll work alongside an established team to deliver control system solutions to the water industry, including the management of asset replacements for control systems across the UK.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
- Provide a flexible approach to resourcing all PLC commissioning requirements of various projects
- Support the project team by developing commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements and risk assessments
- Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained
- Attend FAT activities and provide constructive input with regards to system controls
- Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems including MCC's and associated field equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams and P&ID's
- Complete SAT and Asset Start-up
- Complete commissioning documentation
- Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required
What Do You Need?
- Electrical/Instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent
- Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience – full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing)
- Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems
- Experience of iMCC's including VSD's, Softstarts and Flow, Level, Pressure and Temperature instrumentation
- Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites
- Completion of numerous projects involving PLC, HMI and SCADA iFIXe software, including design, documentation, implementation, and full FAT & SAT testing along with any troubleshooting
- Experience in telemetry end to end testing
- Flexibility for location of work and out of hours working as required by the Company
- Experience in Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley products
