RSE Controls (Saftronics) is expanding their engineering team as we look to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. You will be involved in the full scope of activities for our projects, responsible for the design deliverables, the procurement of goods and services, preparing work scope estimates and quotes, whilst carrying out site surveys and client support.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Meet with clients to discuss specific job requirements.
  • Design systems and products, researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
  • Reading design specifications and technical drawings.
  • Producing AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical drawings.
  • Prepare final documentation (O&M Manual, As Built Drawings etc.)
  • Material requisitioning.
  • Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, alongside site documentation.
  • Carry out site surveys when required.

What Do You Need?

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with particular emphasis in electrical.
  • Proven track record of working as an Engineer within a design office, utilising a knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Ability to produce design calculations as required.
  • Experienced in the use of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
