What you'll do:
- Complete First Off inspection of manufactured parts.
- Validate Manufacturing Setup.
- Ensure Dimensional Accuracy.
- Verify Compliance with Standards, Drawings and process sketches.
- Carry Out First Off Inspection.
- Ensure all inspection processes and documentation comply with internal procedures, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Investigate quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support audits (internal and external) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- CMM Programs - Creation, edit and manage Revision.
- Training new starters & Shopfloor in the use of CMM inspection.
What you'll bring:
- Apprenticeship within the Manufacturing sector - Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry (Dependent on experience minimum 3 years).
- Experience and familiar with company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI or equivalent standards.
- Within Manufacturing sector for a minimum of 3 years.
- Team support & training in the use of CMM's.
- Technical & Product Knowledge.
- Quality-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement orientation.
