What does the role look like?

We are seeking a skilled and certified NDT professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through advanced non-destructive testing methods. You will work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic aerospace environment, supporting our mission to redefine the future of aerospace.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Setting up and standardising equipment to conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on components.
  • Interpreting and evaluating results for acceptance or rejection and documenting findings.
  • Providing guidance and support to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
  • Developing work instructions from approved procedures and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Performing system performance checks and organising test results.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

What will you bring to the role?

Essential skills:

  • Certification to NDT Level 2 in Penetrant, Magnetic Particle.
  • Thorough understanding of NDT methods, standards, and inspection techniques.
  • Visual acuity meeting Jaeger Number 1 standard and Tumbling E vision test requirements.

Desirable skills:

  • NDT Level 2 - Nital Etch Inspection.
  • EN4179 - Qualification.
  • Ability to distinguish and differentiate colours used in NDT methods.
  • Familiarity with aerospace product manufacturing and inspection technologies.
  • Experience creating NDT work instructions and techniques.

Strong problem-solving and team collaboration abilities. Strong organisational and reporting skills.
