About the Role:

Join a team at the forefront of precision engineering, where quality, technical excellence and innovation come together. As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for producing high-integrity components using a range of CNC and NC machines, contributing to the delivery of world-class aerospace products.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set CNC/NC machining equipment in line with engineering requirements and production schedules.
  • Manufacture components to the required quality standards using approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety and 5S principles.
  • Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety.

What You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of machining principles and numerical controls fundamentals as well as the ability to read drawings and layouts - Essential
  • A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship - Essential
  • Siemens 840D Control systems experience - Desirable
  • Ability to Set and Run various CNC Machines to include some of the following Milling, grinding, Turning and Mill-turn machining centres.
  • Manual machining techniques in any of the following, grinding, honing, Deep hole boring, Turning, milling - Desirable
  • Able to set own tools
  • Understanding of 5s principles
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Basic computer and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and nights
