Your Role

Supporting the development and delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair publications for advanced landing gear systems. You will play a key role in producing compliant technical documentation, working closely with engineering and programme teams in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and manage technical publications (CMMs, Service Bulletins, ICA) across the full lifecycle
  • Interpret engineering drawings, test data, and design information to produce accurate, compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, programme, and customer teams to support entry into service (EIS)
  • Plan and manage work packages, schedules, and resources to meet programme objectives
  • Act as a key interface for customers, MROs, and suppliers
  • Ensure documentation quality, compliance, and on-time delivery
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation, including S1000D and digital/IETP initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in aerospace technical publications and documentation (CMMs, SBs)
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems (landing gear experience advantageous)
  • Skilled in interpreting engineering data and producing compliant documentation (ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, ASD-STE100)
  • Experience with technical authoring tools (e.g. FrameMaker, Arbortext, IsoDraw) and SGML/XML
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing technical documentation projects within an engineering or MRO environment
