We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Purchasing Coordinator to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers, to ensure the timely delivery of goods to support business operations.
Your role:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned commodities and suppliers.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service performance.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the business.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams.
- Resolve supply chain issues and expedite deliveries to minimise operational disruption.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic procurement projects.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications in particular - Power Point, Word, Excel - Essential
- Excellent negotiation skills (deadlines/quantities) and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation - Essential
