Your Role
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at Safran Electrical & Power you will direct and manage the Operational Planning, Procurement and Logistics teams and processes. You will ensure the right material is in the right place at the right time to ensure our customer bases satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the Procurement, Operational Planning & Logistics teams and processes.
- Ensure the right material is in the right place at the right time to ensure our customers satisfaction.
- Responsible for all recruitment, performance management and development of the supply chain team.
- Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels at all stages of the supply chain.
- Ensure preventative actions are implemented at the source of root cause.
- Escalate any commercial issues and disputes to the purchasing at Safran Group level.
- Further develop delivery models to support inventory optimisation and maximise material availability.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in international supply chain management and processes.
- Supply Chain degree or equivalent; CIPS qualification preferred.
- Experience in Logistics management and international shipping.
- Strong leadership approach and ability to bring teams together to achieve a goal.
- Proven ability to develop teams in terms of skill, performance, and maturity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across a range of stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of lean implementation in a low volume, high variety environment.
