We are looking for talented individuals to join our Supplier Quality Team as a Supplier Quality Team Leader at our Burnley site.

Your role: In this role, you'll lead daily SQ activities, manage supplier NCRs and corrective actions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust controls are in place to prevent disruption to production. You'll be the key interface between Safran and our supply chain, championing quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Leading Supplier Quality Engineering, Coordination & Goods Inward Inspection
  • Managing supplier audits, NCRs, concessions & eradication plans
  • Ensuring timely containment, characterisation & communication of issues
  • Driving APQP, DVI validation & supplier improvement actions
  • Supporting quality crises to minimise QCD impact
  • Collaborating across internal teams to protect production flow
  • Recovering non-quality costs and ensuring supplier accountability

What You'll Bring

  • Aerospace / Regulated Industry Quality Experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools & Methodologies
  • Practical experience using tools such as:
    • 8D
    • APQP
    • FMEA
    • Lean / Six Sigma principles
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset
  • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality
Desirable
  • Experience Leading or Coaching Teams
  • Ability to guide SQ Engineers, Goods Inward Inspectors, and coordinators in daily activities

  • Confidence Representing Quality in Reviews
  • Experience in Crisis or Escalation Management
