The Program Quality Engineer is a customer facing role representing the quality department within the business and linking into the industrial sites. You'll act as the Quality representative within the Gloucester facility for one of our flagship programs, and deputise for the Program Quality Manager when required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Point of contact of FAL, Product Support Engineers and Customer service to support investigation and traceability requests
  • Lead cross-functional quality investigations including root cause analysis, immediate containment, corrective and preventative actions within challenging timescale
  • Prepare and submit deviation / concession on QIS
  • Analyse / Prepare Monthly FAL data for Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive report / presentation to support internal and external communication of investigations
  • Prepare and attend weekly Customer reviews or other reviews
  • Liaise with internal functions to undertake Quality Improvement activities to increase customer satisfaction and business targets
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, specifications and contractual requirements
  • Participate to new product development or industrialisation activities where required (APQP, PFMEA, DVI)

What You'll Bring:

  • Technical Qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC or degree)
  • Knowledge of aerospace products and procedures (other industries will be considered)
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of Quality tools
  • Knowledge of aerospace processes
  • Understanding of aerospace QMS & regulatory requirements
  • French language skills (desirable)
  • Green Belt
  • Analytical thinking
