What will I be doing?
- Manage & lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers
- Responsible for the deployment of the company human resources policies to all direct reports, including the management of time and attendance via the ADP system.
- Manage skills deployment and development for Assembly Manufacturing Engineers serving the A330neo, HTF, Trent and F7x programmes, ensuring improvement plans are in place where required.
- Identify and mitigate any HSE risks associated with team member activity.
- Working closely with the various Programme Pilots, define and implement resource budgets through the MTP Process.
- Manage the deployment and utilisation of all team members to deliver the Engineering improvement initiatives, addressing matters such as HPU reduction, QN eradication and product delivery.
- Promote a culture of innovation and embed the participative innovation philosophy.

What do you need from me?
- Bachelor\βs Degree in an engineering-related subject (suitable experience will also be considered as an alternative).
- A formal leadership qualification is desirable.
- Proven Manufacturing Engineering experience within an aerospace context.
- Ability to assist with technical Engineering tasks where required β meaning knowledge of core Safran processes is highly desirable.
- Proven appreciation of business economics and how the Engineering activities are directly associated with financial performance.
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral), being comfortable presenting both on a 1-2-1 basis and to larger groups where required.
- Strong project/programme management skills, ensuring all work content is planned, resourced and reviewed effectively to meet customer requirements.
- Displays accountability for the delivery of Engineering content across A330neo, HTF, Trent and F7x assembly programmes.
