What will I be doing?
- Support with Post Entry Amendments
- Archiving Import & Export documentation
- MSS Data and Import Reconciliation
- Support with critical shipments
- Support Customs Manager with Quarterly Bill of Discharge (BOD)
- Support with backlog Bill of Discharge Corrections
- Support with Preference Corrections to HMRC
- Monitor correct application of Steel Quotas on Imports
- Support with Monthly Clearance Instructions
- Support with monthly identification of unauthorised commodity codes into IP
- Keep Records for military shipments
- Good Receipt actions via SAP to monthly supplier invoices.
- Use of Transport Management System (Shiptify)
- Raising deliveries, issuing & processing inter-company deliveries within ERP system (SAP).
- Raising Export documentation (invoices, pack lists, van sheets, load lists, etc).
- Deal with any associated queries around Import & Export shipments.
- Creating weekly stock requirement spreadsheets from SAP. (Downloads)
- Booking transport weekly/daily shuttles /ad hoc deliveries & global airfreights.
- Use of MS Planner for task management and preparation for monthly performance review
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as/when requested including QRQC
- Improvement suggestions and implementation.
- Aircraft on ground cover. (AOG)
- Implement Process improvements
- Health & safety/ near miss reporting including 5S
- Training requirements as/when specified.
- Any other ad-hoc activities related to the customs and logistics processes.
- Monthly BSC KPI Production utilising Fabriq
- Support Audit Processes

What do you need from me?
- Experience in an Importing and Exporting environment within a manufacturing or a freight forwarder background.
- Knowledge or understanding of Customs entry documentation (Import & Export).
- A good standard of written and spoken English.
- MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Planner.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- To be able to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP (training provided if required)
- Strong 'can do' attitude.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Flexible attitude to working.
