Responsibilities include managing supplier non-conformities, including quality alerts, through investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Methods can include 8D/5WHYs in non-escalated flow. Oversees quality events and monitors processing time, contributing to handling supplier deviations. Sanction and monitor the supplier industrial validation process by administering the supplier First Article Inspection (FAI) reports within PPAP for BTP and APQP reports for BTS. Ensure that the industrial validation process milestones are met, while necessary modifications to stakeholders are proposed based on the supplier's maturity, the component, the processes, and best practices. Coordinate supplier concession requests. Consolidate costs related to supplier quality NCs impacting production or causing customer disruptions. Coordinate securing non-conformity actions in a non-escalated flow. Anticipate, detect, address, and capitalise on risks and weak signals – proactively analyse them to prevent risks, proposing mitigation plans.

Qualifications:

  • Quality problem solving methodologies (8D / 9S)
  • AS/EN/JISQ 9100 Knowledge
  • Understanding of Part-21, Part-145, SMS
  • AS/EN 9102 FAI Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management
  • Intermediate understanding of process manufacturing management (incl. SP - special processes) and project management
  • Basic understanding of Measurement Tools
  • Basic Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Understanding of ETQ or equivalent NC Management Tool
  • Understanding of Risk Awareness
  • Intermediate knowledge in ERP system (SAP, M3, MFG.....)
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and quality tools such as 8D, 9S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.
  • Experience in designing and processing PFMEA
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP/FAI/DVI processes
  • Ability to create and modify a quality control plan
  • Knowledge in interpreting engineering drawings and fundamental understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensions and tolerances)
  • Exhibits strong reactivity skills, capable of adapting to rapid changes and situations
  • Ability to establish positive and proactive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to tasks and projects
