As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will act as the technical authority for a defined manufacturing domain or module.

About the role
You will lead the design, implementation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with industrial and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and act as the escalation point for complex manufacturing issues.
- Oversee key manufacturing process documentation including Work Instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, routings, and layouts.
- Lead industrialisation strategy for new and existing products to ensure long-term manufacturability.
- Champion problem-solving maturity across the site, coaching teams in 8D, 5-Why and RCA methods.
- Define manufacturing technology roadmaps, including automation, digitalisation, and advanced tooling.
- Lead cross-functional teams on industrialisation, NPI and major change programmes.
- Represent Manufacturing Engineering in audits, governance boards and customer/leadership reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable performance improvements.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or other related engineering field - Essential
- Demonstrable experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in a regulated industry - Essential
- Proficiency in CAD, CAM, and process simulation tools - Essential
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies - Essential
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings - Essential
- Experience deploying APQP standards and tools
- Experience mentoring or developing engineers
