Job Description 145 Compliance Monitoring Engineer \n Newport \n Hybrid \n Reporting to the 3S Quality Director, the purpose of this role is to maintain the Quality Management System of SGB repair station. \n Safran is an international high-technology group operating in the fields of aerospace (propulsion, equipment and interiors), space and defense. n With more than one million seats installed across the fleets of the world's leading airlines, Safran Seats is one of the global leaders in passenger, crew, aircraft and helicopter seating, delivering innovative, high value-added solutions. \n 145 Compliance Monitoring Engineer \n Newport \n Hybrid \n Skills: EASA & UK CAA 145 regulations, EN9100, Quality Engineering, Aerospace, Audit, Part 145, AS9100 \n Reporting to the 3S Quality Director, the purpose of this role is to maintain the Quality Management System of SGB repair station, to ensure compliance with both EASA & UK CAA 145 regulations, and with EN9100 for Repair activity (SRV-05 process). \n \n This position requires to be the main contact point of Regulatory bodies for Part 145, to provide comprehensive support to the repair station personnel and certifying staff, and to collaborate with the Quality Compliance team and with all areas of Safran Seats GB involved in the maintenance & repair activity. \n \n Member of the Aftermarket Quality Team (includes FR, UK, US, Singapore & Dubai). n \n Liaison with Regulatory bodies and customers. \n \n Travel not normally required except for cross-BU network & benchmark (international) \n * Provide support for customer and regulatory (external) audits, to ensure process and procedural compliance to AS9100 and EASA 145. * Protect customers from non-quality, by ensuring that repaired products and practices comply with regulations, customer requirements and Safran standards and promoting a culture of prevention and anticipation \n * Develop the Safety culture and SMS maturity within the Repair Station \n * Drive continuous improvement, by capitalizing on factual data and feedback and providing the necessary support for the repair station. \n * Undertake other reasonable duties, in line with Customer Support & Services business needs and objectives, which are consistent and commensurate with the overall purpose of the position. \n * Develop and manage the internal audit programme to ensure compliance with EASA/UK CAA Part 145 requirements and support deployment of the Part 145 Management System across the Repair Station. \n * Promote a strong safety culture and assist in managing operational safety risks. \n * Work closely with Quality Compliance, Aftermarket and wider business teams on quality system matters. \n * Support training and coaching in quality improvement tools, Human Factors and best practices. n We want Safran Seats to be a workplace where everyone feels valued, can be themselves and know they can reach their full potential.
