What does the role look like?
Our Supply Chain & Procurement Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious, curious, and motivated individuals who want to shape the supply chains powering the next generation of aircraft.
Over the course of this three-year programme, you’ll gain hands-on experience across sourcing, procurement, supplier performance, and supply chain innovation. Based at our Wolverhampton site, you’ll rotate across key areas of the business — from managing critical materials and supplier relationships to leading improvement projects that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
You’ll learn how to build strong supplier partnerships, manage contracts, monitor performance, and deliver value across complex global supply chains. Throughout the programme, you’ll receive mentoring, structured training, and support towards professional accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
By the end of the scheme, you’ll have developed the technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commercial awareness needed to progress into a permanent role within procurement, supplier performance, or supply chain management at Safran.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
* Supporting direct and indirect procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance.
* Managing supplier relationships and contributing to sourcing strategies and performance improvement plans.
* Assisting with supplier performance reviews, data analysis, and KPI reporting.
* Supporting continuous improvement and process excellence initiatives across the supply chain.
* Engaging with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and quality to align supply chain objectives.
* Participating in projects that drive cost reduction, sustainability, and innovation.
What will you bring to the role?
Essential skills:
* A minimum 2:1 degree (or MSc/MA equivalent) in any discipline (2:2 considered with relevant experience).
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
* A motivated, professional, and resilient mindset.
Desirable skills:
* Experience or exposure to procurement, supply chain, or project-based environments.
* Understanding of commercial processes, data analysis, or ERP systems such as SAP.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* A genuine interest in aerospace and supply chain management.
* Leadership potential and the ability to adapt to change.
* GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C (4) or above.

Recruitment Process & Timeline
We believe in making our recruitment process transparent and rewarding:

2. Quick Personality & Motivational Assessment (October 2025) – A 10–15 minute mobile questionnaire using a simple swipe-right/left style. You’ll also receive your own personalised feedback report to use however you wish.
3. HireVue Video Interview (October–November 2025) – Record responses to three short questions (max 5 minutes each). Hiring teams will review these and select candidates for the next stage.
4. Assessment Centre – Onsite in Wolverhampton (December 2025) – Includes an interview, presentation, and group tasks. You’ll also meet the hiring team and gain a deeper understanding of the role and expectations.
5. Final Decision (January 2026) – Offers will be made by this date at the latest.
