We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Central Functions team as an EHS Manager at our Wolverhampton site. Your Role: As EHS Manager, you will lead and drive the site's Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with all legal and corporate requirements while embedding a proactive safety culture. You will take ownership of the EHS management system, ensuring its effectiveness through continuous improvement, audits, and strong leadership engagement. Working collaboratively across the business, you will provide expert guidance, training, and support to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering sustainable safety performance across the Wolverhampton site and would be suitable for someone who enjoys working with and motivating people to come along on the journey with them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, development and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring timely closure and effective preventative actions
  • Drive compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate EHS requirements, including audits (e.g. ISO 14001)
  • Develop and deliver EHS training, coaching and mentoring to build capability across all functions of the organisation
  • Manage EHS performance metrics and reporting, ensuring clear visibility and accountability
  • Engage with leadership teams and committees to drive a strong, proactive safety culture and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:

Essential:
  • Proven experience leading EHS strategy and compliance within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001)
  • Experience leading audits and investigations, and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Strategic mindset and a good communicator, who is able to motivate and engage with stakeholders of all levels
  • NEBOSH certified
Desirable:
  • Managerial or coaching qualification holder
