Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 6.00am to 2.00pm, Friday: 6.00am to 11.00am
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Friday: 11.00am to 4.00pm
This shift pattern attracts a 14.5% shift premium on basic salary.
Your Role:
- Examine, inspect and measure goods and materials used within the aerospace industry.
- Proficient with using a multitude of test and precision measuring equipment, as well as manual hand tools such as torque wrenches, cutters, pliers and screwdrivers.
- Demonstrate excellent judgement skills, passing or referring products to the Line Engineer and providing ideas for improvement when applicable.
- Inspect and measure goods on the manufacturing line.
- Passing, referring or failing goods on the line as appropriate, keeping the Line Engineer informed with regular updates.
- Ability to use a multitude of hand tools including screw drivers, pliers, torque wrenches, as well as precision measuring equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to work area and processes.
- Ability to manually handle products weighing up to 25kg, using lift aides where appropriate.
- Capability of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, layouts and related documentation at a high level.
