The role will focus on implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Clinic System within the designated area / site / value stream:

  • Develop and manage an implementation plan to achieve compliance to Quality Clinic requirements.
  • Manage the development, coordination and execution of gap closure plans to achieve Quality Clinic effectiveness.
  • Manage and coordinate the daily execution of the Quality Clinic system including the control and disposition of non-conforming product, containment and the execution of improvement activities and projects.
  • Coordinate the tasks and activities of Quality Clinic core team member and support functions.
  • Coordinate the continuous improvement of the assigned Quality Clinic system.
  • Coach and facilitate problem solving with Quality Clinic core team members and support functions.
  • Monitor process performance through established result and process performance measures / KPIs.
  • Communicate process performance to key stakeholders through structured performance review.
  • Maintain standards for visual management and 5S / 7S.
  • Contribute to the evolution and improvement of the Quality Clinic systems across Actuation through sharing of best practices and supporting the development of standards.

Essential:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, assess root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action, with a structured approach to identifying and preventing recurrence of issues.
  • Full understanding of AD (Airworthiness Directives) and their application within an aviation environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and use evidence to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience of the aerospace aftermarket, including its processes, requirements and operational environment.
  • Six Sigma training or qualification, with an understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience of working within an aerospace environment.
  • Experience using data-driven approaches to improve processes, quality and operational performance.
