We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer - NPI (Full Lifecycle) at our Wolverhampton site.
Your Role:
- You will lead the manufacturing planning & implementation of new products and their associated production facilities and process, working throughout the NPI project/programme lifecycle from initial design stages through to facility implementation, process validation and full production ramp-up.
- Acting as a key interface across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, and a key member of the Integrated Project Team (IPT), you will play a key leadership role in achieving manufacturing programme deliverables & successful project outcomes within a transforming and fast-paced environment.
- Apply Systems Engineering V-model principles, you will define the manufacturing system requirements and influence product design & development through DFx, Lean Manufacturing and APQP methodologies, ensuring robust, scalable and cost-effective manufacturing solutions are defined, verified and achieved.
- You will own the design, development and validation of manufacturing processes, including PFMEA, control plans, process simulation & verification, pilot build validation, and production readiness reviews to ensure a smooth transition into series production.

What You'll Bring:
- Essential:
- Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Strong experience in NPI and full product lifecycle industrialisation
- Proven track record of successfully introducing new products & processes into production
- Strong knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFx & other best practices
- Strong understanding of machining, assembly and test processes, including the latest technology roadmaps
- Ability to influence design and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of Systems engineering / V model principles including requirements management, process verification and validation
- Desirable:
- Experience in aerospace, automotive or high-precision industries
- Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9145 standards
- Knowledge of SPC / process capability (Cpk) and metrology systems & technologies
- Relevant experience of project management & risk mitigation planning
