We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, aerospace, military, and regulatory requirements. This is a highly influential role responsible for maintaining key certifications and approvals, managing audit programmes, driving process improvements, and acting as the primary interface with regulatory and certification authorities. You will play a critical part in ensuring our business maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, airworthiness, and compliance while supporting operational excellence across the organisation.,

  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintain regulatory approvals and certifications across design, manufacturing, repair, and support activities.
  • Lead internal and external audit programmes and ensure effective closure of findings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage EASA Form 1 approvals, training, and associated systems.
  • Oversee audits of third-party repair organisations and suppliers.
  • Develop and deploy quality auditors across the business.
  • Ensure quality procedures, manuals, and documentation remain compliant and effective.
  • Provide QA MRB approvals for concessions and permits.
  • Drive business-wide quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
  • Train, assess, and approve personnel operating within regulated quality processes.
  • Aerospace industry experience within Quality, Compliance, Airworthiness, or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, EASA Part 21G, Part 21J, Part 145, and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Auditor qualification and audit management experience.
  • Experience managing Quality Management Systems and regulatory approvals.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to drive change and continuous improvement across a complex organisation.
  • Willingness to travel to Safran and third-party locations as required.
