As a Senior ILS Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power, you will offer excellent support and service solutions to our customers in the aftermarket, optimising elements of the product design to enable the provision of complete support to our global customer base. You will support on various projects, producing and updating service support readiness plans. You will play a key role in influencing the commercial offering, optimising whole life costs. You will model and plan ILS work packages of varying sizes, leading small project teams of varying disciplines.
- Ensure we offer complete support and service solutions to our customers in the aftermarket
- Work with program teams to provide all elements for a successful entry into service and ongoing support for new products
- Produce and update service support readiness plans, conducting ILS analysis including maintainability assessments and Turn Around Time (TAT) analysis
- Ensure continued profitability from the parts and services that we provide to our customer base
- Plan ILS work packages of various sizes and manage them to completion
- Liaise with various key stakeholders to determine the best support solution for a customer or platform
- Lead project teams of around 1 to 5 people
We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we are also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have some or all of the following, we would love to hear from you:
- A degree or significant experience in areas such as aerospace, engineering or automotive
- Knowledge and use of ILS, reliability and maintainability
- Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
- Appreciation of the constraints of working within a regulated industry
- Ability to derive the best support solutions in a complete systems environment, thinking equally in both technical and commercial spaces
- Ability to persuade stakeholders to change approach when required, using data and analysis evidence bases
- Comfortable working with demanding customers to jointly define the best ways to support the business
- Evidence of written English at interview stage.
