About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, aerospace, military, and regulatory requirements. This is a highly influential role responsible for maintaining key certifications and approvals, managing audit programmes, driving process improvements, and acting as the primary interface with regulatory and certification authorities. You will play a critical part in ensuring our business maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, airworthiness, and compliance while supporting operational excellence across the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS). - Maintain regulatory approvals and certifications across design, manufacturing, repair, and support activities. - Lead internal and external audit programmes and ensure effective closure of findings. - Act as the primary point of contact for customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities. - Manage EASA Form 1 approvals, training, and associated systems. - Oversee audits of third-party repair organisations and suppliers. - Develop and deploy quality auditors across the business. - Ensure quality procedures, manuals, and documentation remain compliant and effective. - Provide QA MRB approvals for concessions and permits. - Drive business-wide quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities. - Train, assess, and approve personnel operating within regulated quality processes. Essential Requirements - Aerospace industry experience within Quality, Compliance, Airworthiness, or Engineering. - Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, EASA Part 21G, Part 21J, Part 145, and associated regulatory requirements. - Lead Auditor qualification and audit management experience. - Experience managing Quality Management Systems and regulatory approvals. - Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. - Ability to drive change and continuous improvement across a complex organisation. - Willingness to travel to Safran and third-party locations as required.
