During your 12-month placement, you'll gain exposure to a range of Finance activities including financial reporting, management accounting, financial control, auditing and business performance analysis. You'll work on real projects, collaborate with stakeholders across the business and develop a practical understanding of how Finance supports a complex global manufacturing organisation. Supported by experienced colleagues and mentors, you'll build the skills, confidence and commercial awareness needed for a successful future career in Finance. Responsibilities Assist with monthly financial control activities, including journal preparation and spreadsheet validation. Support the preparation of monthly management and financial accounts. Take ownership of assigned balance sheet reconciliations. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and support financial reporting activities. Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of supporting documentation. Work with Programme, Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams on business initiatives and financial modelling activities. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. Assist with Finance projects and continuous improvement activities. Candidate Requirements Essential Criteria On track to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Business Administration or a related discipline. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Finance. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Desirable Criteria Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
