Safran Actuation Systems UK is a world-class centre for the design, manufacture and support of actuation and flight-control solutions used across commercial, military and rotary platforms. With major sites in Wolverhampton and Banbury, our teams play a critical role in delivering innovative, reliable and safe systems that keep aircraft performing at their best.

Your Role:

As an EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting and promoting a positive safety culture across the site. Working closely with operational teams and management, you will help ensure compliance with company, legal and regulatory requirements while continuously improving environmental, health and safety performance.

  • Guiding and ensuring compliance through implementation.
  • Updating, reviewing, and auditing of the Company and legal program requirements.
  • Maintaining and improving an effective EHS management system and audit its effectiveness.
  • Providing core and specialist training and development opportunities.
  • Guide and mentor in troubleshooting, resolving problems, and identifying improvement opportunities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience supporting Environmental, Health & Safety programmes and compliance activities within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of risk assessments, incident investigation, root cause analysis and safety management systems.
  • Experience delivering EHS training, inductions and providing guidance to operational teams and employees.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 14001, 50001 & 45001.
