You’ll be responsible for:
- Contributing to Development projects performance, aiming for Right First-Time outcomes
- Challenging maturity of project inputs and fostering anticipation and prevention, relying on lessons learned
- Supporting development project leaders in the elaboration and implementation of development plans
- Defining development quality plans
- Contributing to the management of risks and opportunities at the different steps of the projects, leveraging APQP
- Ensuring development processes comply with internal and regulatory standards, are respected, and proposing improvements
- Contributing to continuous improvement of the Development Quality function
Main Tasks:
- Consolidate development project inputs in the early stage of the development project
- Lead the APQP risk analysis at the beginning of the project
- Contribute to the identification of risks and opportunities related to design, industrialization, support, and services development
- Consolidate the development plan in the early stage of the project
- Contribute to making the development plan consistent with the project initial maturity and the risks and opportunities identified in the preliminary phase
- Define project quality assurance plan
- Identify required quality resources and skills
- Contribute to project performance during the development phase
- Foster co-engineering
- Ensure that the product design integrates early in the process requirements related to industrialization, support, and service (e.g., maintainability and repairability)
- Implement quality plans
- Manage the APQP timeline, coordinate deliverables maturity assessments and corresponding action plans
Quality of deliverables:
- Contribute to management of risks and opportunities
- Prepare quality report for Master Engineering Reviews
- Assist teams in implementing, validating, and qualifying resources whenever relevant (test benches, prototypes, testing means, etc.)
- Promote the Develop process and control its proper application
- Conduct flash audits
- Lead some root causes analyses for non-quality events in Development, with the aim of preventing reoccurrence and leveraging lessons learned
- Contribute to internal and external audits on the Develop process
