Key Responsibilities
- Produce electrical installation models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs for first and business class products and systems.
- Design 3D harnesses, electrical schematics and block diagrams.
- Integrate electrical systems within aircraft seats.
- Generate 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA V5 and PLM software.
- Participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the New Product Introduction process.
- Participate in product validation using prototyping, test and other methods.
- Follow and contribute to the development of Best Practice guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline.
- Alternative: HNC/HND or equivalent qualification with post‑qualification experience in a technical role.
- Experience using 3D CAD & AutoCAD electrical software packages or equivalent.
- Ability to operate at a senior level and act as a mentor or provide support to more junior team members.
