Safran Aerospace Wolverhampton is looking for machinists and workshop operators for our gear manufacturing team. This is a state-of-the-art machining facility established with significant investments in equipment and new technologies, combined with many existing machines and an experienced workforce.
A number of different machinist roles (including CNC turning, grinding, 5-axis milling, detailing, bench work, and inspection roles) have been opened for new programmes and a significant increase in volumes.
The machinists will be responsible for the setup, supervision, first-line maintenance, and quality production of products from several automated CNC machines to achieve production volumes. They will also support improvement and development work, closely collaborating with key manufacturers and manufacturing engineering, acquiring new skills, and contributing to the overall needs of the team. Shift work and overtime will be required. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.
