About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support the implementation, management and continuous improvement of the Quality Clinic system within a designated area, site or value stream.
You will work closely with operational, engineering and quality teams to ensure non-conforming products are effectively controlled and that robust corrective actions are implemented.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, driving continuous improvement and influencing stakeholders across the business.
You will play a key role in monitoring quality performance, facilitating structured problem solving and supporting the evolution of quality standards across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include
- Develop and manage implementation plans to achieve Quality Clinic compliance.
- Coordinate and drive gap closure activities to improve Quality Clinic effectiveness.
- Manage the daily operation of the Quality Clinic system.
- Control and support the disposition of non-conforming products.
- Lead containment activities and quality improvement projects.
- Coordinate Quality Clinic core team members and support functions.
- Facilitate and coach teams through structured problem-solving activities.
- Monitor process performance using established KPIs and measures.
- Communicate quality performance through structured stakeholder reviews.
- Maintain visual management standards and support 5S/7S activities.
- Share best practice and contribute to the development of Quality Clinic standards across the wider business.
- What You\'ll Bring
Essential
- Experience within a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance environment.
- Knowledge and practical application of quality problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, PPS or Red X.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
Desirable
- Experience working with Quality Clinic systems or similar quality management frameworks.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and willingness to achieve Black Belt certification.
- Experience using quality and business systems such as SAP, ETQ, Tableau and M365.
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing or actuation quality processes.
