We are looking for passionate individuals to join our R&D Test team as a Test and Development Support Technician at our Pitstone site.
Your Role
As a Test and Development Support Technician at Pitstone you will be providing support, installation and maintenance to our Engineering Test Rigs. These systems are used to test and validate our Electrical Motors and Electrical Generators used across a range of applications in the Aerospace industry. You will support the Engineers in this department to set up tests, new equipment and help to make parts and equipment to keep them running for different customer requirements. Training will be provided and you will be working with an experienced Technician to develop your skills.
What You'll Bring
- Engineering qualifications like Wiring Regs, Mechanical apprenticeships, NVQs, or Electrical or Electronics Qualifications or other relevant to the role – Essential
- Ability to use or learn Machining centres, such as CNC and Manual; Mills, Lathes, Grinders etc – Essential
- Safe working and good attitude to HSE requirements – Essential
- Experience with plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics – Desirable
- Experience with test equipment like Gauges, Meters, and Tools - Desirable
