Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of assigned programmes and product families throughout the full product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for achieving key business objectives, coordinating cross-functional activities, and leading multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration, performance, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to foster a collaborative team culture while ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and to target outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage programmes/projects throughout the lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives, timescales, and business goals.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate programme risks, implementing corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Review and validate sales proposals, technical estimates, and business cases, ensuring commercial viability and appropriate governance approvals.
  • Manage programme financial performance, including sales, revenue, profitability, cost control, forecasting, and recovery planning where required.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated programme plans with clear milestones, deliverables, resources, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
  • Chair programme review meetings, monitor progress, track actions, manage change requests, and provide regular status updates to customers and senior leadership.
  • Support contract management and business growth activities by ensuring robust contractual agreements are in place and contributing to new business opportunities.

  • Experience managing programmes or projects in a commercial, engineering, manufacturing, or technology environment.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
  • Excellent analytical and business analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable plans and recommendations.
  • Experience creating KPIs, dashboards, and management reports using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, including business cases, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to analyse operational, supply chain, and financial performance data to support decision-making.
  • Skilled in presenting complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
