Safran Landing Systems are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets.
Our expertise covers the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end; Design, Engineering & Manufacturing, through to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). The Gloucester OE site has been at the forefront of landing gear technology for over 85 years, dating from the innovative designs of Sir George Dowty to advanced landing gears for the world's most modern aircraft today.
Reporting to the VP Engineering, the Engineering Transformation Manager will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Engineering transformation agenda.
Working closely with Engineering leaders and teams, the role drives initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness, delivery performance, and long-term capability. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, the role will translate priorities into action, ensuring change is implemented and embedded for lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of transformation initiatives that improve Engineering performance, effectiveness, and business outcomes
- Partner with the VP Engineering and Engineering Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into clear plans and measurable actions
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve ways of working, and strengthen collaboration across Engineering and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain transformation roadmaps, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, aligned, and delivered against business objectives
- Establish governance, reporting, and performance measures to track progress, support decision-making, and provide visibility of outcomes
- Drive engagement and commitment to change by working closely with leaders and teams throughout the transformation journey
- Support the implementation and adoption of new approaches, ensuring improvements deliver sustainable benefits
- Use data, insight, and stakeholder feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, removing barriers, managing dependencies, and maintaining momentum
- Provide challenge, support, and independent perspective to help leaders make informed decisions and achieve transformation goals
- Monitor the effectiveness of transformation activity, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation
What You'll Bring:
- Experience leading significant change, transformation, improvement, or business-critical programmes.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, without direct authority.
