Published 09.11.2026 Company : Safran Nacelles Job field : Quality Location : Burnley , England , United Kingdom Contract type : VIE Contract duration : Full-time Required degree : Master Degree Required experience : First experience Professional status : Professional, Engineer & Manager Spoken language(s) : English Fluent French IntermediatePublished 09.11.2026Job DescriptionWorking within the Composite Operational Quality Assurance team, the VIE will contribute to Quality improvement activities with a particular focus on Paint Shop processes and Special Process Paint.The main missions will include:- Support the development and implementation of a dedicated Paint Shop concession eradication project**, working closely with Quality and Operations teams to analyse recurring concessions, identify root causes and contribute to the implementation of sustainable corrective actions.- Develop and strengthen knowledge of Special Process Paint requirements** within the Composite Operational Quality Assurance team, by supporting the identification, analysis and sharing of technical and Quality knowledge related to paint processes.- Contribute to the development and deployment of Quality Clinics, supporting the preparation of relevant topics, analysis of Quality issues and sharing of lessons learned and improvement actions with the operational teams.The assignment will provide the opportunity to develop practical experience in aerospace Quality Assurance, problem solving and continuous improvement within an international manufacturing environment.Job RequirementsYou have an Engineering degree, HND or equivalent qualification, preferably in Quality, Manufacturing, Aerospace or a related technical field. You are interested in developing your experience in Quality Assurance and continuous improvement within an aerospace manufacturing environmentThe ideal candidate will have:- An initial experience or strong academic background in Quality Assurance within a technical and/or manufacturing environment.- An interest in Quality planning for new products and new customers.- Experience or knowledge of **problem solving and improvement projects.- Knowledge of key Quality tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, SPC, 8D and/or Six Sigma.- An understanding of First Article Inspection (PVI/PPAP) processes would be an advantage.- An interest in **Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ) reduction** and continuous improvement.- An understanding of aerospace **Quality standards and regulations** would be beneficial.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.- Good working knowledge of English.- A proactive, curious and collaborative approach, with a strong willingness to learn and develop in an international environment.Company InformationSafran is an international high-technology group operating in the fields of aerospace (propulsion, equipment and interiors), space and defense.
