Safran Nacelles is looking for skilled and motivated Skilled Fitters to join our Assembly Operations team. Working on a production assembly line, you will assemble aircraft components and structures to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. Following engineering drawings, master layouts, and manufacturing instructions, you will carry out precision assembly operations while ensuring compliance with aerospace specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and master layouts.
- Assemble aircraft components to customer and engineering specifications.
- Carry out drilling, riveting, cutting, and fitting operations to fine tolerances.
- Install a variety of rivets and fasteners to a high standard of quality.
- Produce work that meets engineering definitions and quality requirements.
- Work safely and comply with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and workshops.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Identify and escalate product quality, process, or safety concerns using company processes.

- Essential Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Engineering, Sheet Metal, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong practical skills using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Experience with drilling, riveting, cutting, and assembly activities.
- Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances.
