Your Role

The NDT Operator is responsible for performing ultrasonic non‑destructive testing (NDT) in accordance with formal engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures full traceability of documentation, supports compliance with external standards, and contributes to the safe, efficient, and high‑quality operation of the NDT function.

• Perform ultrasonic NDT inspections in line with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare components, equipment, and work areas for inspection activities.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and to the required standard.
• Support Level II personnel with inspection tasks, including operational inspection duties on production parts.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• NDT Training & Qualification Pathway – Must have completed (or be able to complete) the required examinations to qualify as an NDT Level II after training.
• Strong initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Desirable

• Safety Awareness – Must understand and follow Health & Safety policies, PPE requirements, and risk‑assessment controls. Must be able to identify and elevate safety concerns related to people, equipment, or product integrity.
• Quality‑Focused Mindset – Must be committed to producing high‑quality work and maintaining compliance with NADCAP and customer standards. Capable of completing documentation accurately and maintaining full traceability.
• Technical Competence – Ability to learn and understand the scope, limitations, and correct application of ultrasonic NDT techniques. Capable of performing equipment setup, calibration, and routine maintenance checks.
• Communication & Collaboration – Must be able to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers when required. Able to communicate clearly, especially when reporting inspection results or raising concerns.
• Reliability & Professionalism – Willingness to support Level II personnel, including occasional travel for customer interface activities.
