Overview
Senior ILS Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power will optimise complete support for aftermarket customers by refining product design for serviceability. You’ll work on ILS analyses and readiness plans, collaborating with program teams to enable entry into service and ongoing support. The role focuses on sustaining profitability of parts and services while leading cross‑discipline project teams and shaping the commercial offer. Responsibilities
- Ensure comprehensive aftermarket support with end‑to‑end service solutions
- Collaborate with program teams to facilitate entry into service and ongoing support for new products
- Produce and update service support readiness plans and perform ILS analyses (including maintainability and TAT)
- Plan and manage ILS work packages of varying sizes
- Lead small project teams (1–5 people) across disciplines
- Liaise with stakeholders to determine optimal support solutions for customers/platforms
- Maintain profitability of parts and services through lifecycle management
- Support continuous improvement of service support processes and commercial offerings
Key requirements
- Degree or significant experience in aerospace, engineering or automotive
- Knowledge of ILS, reliability and maintainability
- Strong stakeholder liaison skills at all levels
- Understanding of regulated industry constraints
- Ability to derive best support solutions in a systems environment (technical and commercial)
- Ability to persuade stakeholders using data and analysis
- Experience working with demanding customers to define optimal support
