Safran Nacelles is seeking an analytical and proactive MPS Planner to join our Composites team. This is a key role responsible for translating production demand into achievable manufacturing schedules, ensuring customer commitments are met while balancing capacity, inventory, and operational performance.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, you will develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), analyse capacity requirements, identify risks, and provide planning scenarios that support effective decision-making.

About the Role

As the MPS Planner, you will be responsible for converting the production plan into detailed daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, ensuring alignment with manufacturing capacity and business objectives.

You will lead planning activities, maintain ERP planning parameters, conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), and drive data accuracy to support efficient production and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Translate production plans into daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules.
• Perform RCCP analysis to ensure production plans are achievable.
• Identify capacity constraints and develop planning scenarios to mitigate risks.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters and data accuracy.
• Validate MRP outputs and ensure planning data integrity.
• Monitor production performance and provide weekly/monthly reporting.
• Prepare Monthly Supply Point Reviews including capacity analysis and planning recommendations.
• Build and maintain VEX forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities, and forecast variances.
• Work closely with Manufacturing teams to validate production plans and resolve scheduling issues.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Planning
• Strong understanding of MRP II and production planning principles
• Experience developing and managing production schedules
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide practical solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills

• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Experience with RCCP and capacity planning
• SAP or ERP system experience
• Knowledge of business economics and forecasting principles
• APICS qualification or similar supply chain certification
