The Continuous Improvement Specialist is a key role within our CI team, responsible for energising and improving the organisation using Lean Sigma tools to positively impact on Cost, Quality, Delivery, Performance, Cash and Customer Satisfaction. You will work closely with teams at all levels to ensure continuous improvement efforts are driven throughout the organisation and to promote the sharing of best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement and change projects within our landing systems production operations
- Engage with stakeholders of all levels across the business to facilitate change projects and build stakeholder buy-in
- Apply Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies and toolsets to our production operations
- Work cross-functionally with all areas of production including: Production, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality
Candidate skills & requirements:
- Proven experience in continuous improvement within operational roles within an aerospace or industrial environment
- Experienced in Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies and toolsets
- Proficiency in the use of common software packages including Microsoft Office suite and Minitab (statistical software)
- Strong stakeholder management & interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge and experience of Project and/or change management
