About the Role
Safran Nacelles is seeking an organised and proactive Internal Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team. The purpose of this role is to schedule and manage internal supply activities to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring materials and components are delivered on time to support manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in optimising inventory levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and driving strong On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance across the business.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, and other operational teams, you will help identify and resolve supply risks while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and validate MRP outputs and exception messages
- Launch and sequence production orders
- Maintain ERP planning parameters
- Identify and elevate supply constraints
- Negotiate delivery dates and quantities with internal suppliers
- Monitor production progress against plan
- Analyse performance issues and support recovery plans
- Support daily control rooms, QRQC, audits, stock takes, and improvement projects
- Act as a key communication link between manufacturing units
Candidate skills & requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within Supply Chain, Planning, Scheduling, Production Control, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Good understanding of MRP2 principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with internal customers and suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Production planning or scheduling experience.
- Understanding of MPS and production control processes.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain optimisation.
- Experience participating in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement projects.
- APICS CPIM qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of manufacturing capacity planning.
