R&T Project Engineer - Contractor Inside IR35

Overview

We are looking for a sub contractor to work at our Safran Nacelles site for a 3 month duration. Availability to start within the next 3 weeks is required and the role is full time in Burnley, Lancs. Sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this role, so please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK currently.

The role will provide support to the R&T team to execute the R&T projects in relation to composite manufacturing, sheet metal and assembly technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the context of the projects and current challenges
• Participate in defining a roadmap to address outstanding issues
• Be able to present the development plan to the rest of the team and to experts for validation
• Facilitate the execution of the plan in a timely manner
• Help track progress and keep pushing to get things done
• Communicate to stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated
• Capture decisions with minutes of meetings
• Report writing – review and collate results, providing a summary of conclusions and key recommendations
• Close actions once quality requirements have been met

Requirements

• Studied Engineering (preferably related to Automation)
• Understanding of Aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes
